The AY and AYP single-stage and two-stage oil pump series are modified and redesigned based on the old Y-shaped oil pump series. It is a new product developed to meet the needs of modernization construction and adapt to equipment upgrades centered on energy conservation as soon as possible. It has the following characteristics:
1. The bearing body components have been replaced with 45, 55, and 70 bearing bodies for the original 35, 50, and 60 bearing bodies, respectively, improving reliability.
2. The hydraulic flow section adopts a high-efficiency energy-saving pump hydraulic model, which has an average efficiency 5-8% higher than the old Y-shaped oil pump.
3. To maintain inheritance, the structural type, installation dimensions, and performance parameter range of AY type oil pump are kept the same as those of Y-shaped oil pump, making it easier for old devices to be updated and renovated.
4. The degree of standardization of components is high, and standard parts are shared by several series of products.
5. The material selection is refined, with Class II and III materials as the main body, and the bearing body and other components are increased to cast steel and cast iron, providing favorable conditions for cold regions, exposed cold regions, outdoor use, and marine use.
6. There are three types of bearings: air-cooled, fan cooled, and water-cooled, which are selected according to the different operating temperatures of the pump. Among them, fan cooling is particularly suitable for areas with water shortage or poor water quality.

Structural features:

AY and AYP single-stage and two-stage oil pumps are divided into six types: single-stage single suction and two-stage single suction cantilever, single-stage suction cantilever, single-stage double suction, two-stage double suction and two support, and two-stage single suction and two support. The structural types are shown in Figure 1 to Figure 6.
Radial splitting of the shell is particularly suitable for transporting high temperature and flammable, explosive, or toxic liquids. Its installation method is supported by a horizontal centerline. The suction flange and discharge flange of the pump are both cast onto the pump body and face vertically upwards. The bearing chamber (packing box) and pump cover are cast as a whole, which can be equipped with packing seals and balanced, bellows, and series mechanical seals. There are optional water-cooled chamber clamps cast outside the shaft seal chamber, and the water-cooled chamber must be equipped with special requirements or when the temperature of the conveying medium is water exceeding 66 ℃ and the temperature of hydrocarbons exceeds 150 ℃.
The impeller is cast as a whole and is statically balanced. The axial force of the pump is mainly balanced by the impeller balance hole.
The bearing body is equipped with a set of radial ball bearings and a set of thrust ball bearings installed back-to-back. The bearings are lubricated with oil rings and thin oil. The outer surface of the bearing body is cast with heat dissipation fins, which can be air cooled (T ＜ 120 ℃), or fan cooled (T=120 ℃ -260 ℃) or water cooled (T=260 ℃ -420 ℃).
In order to easily remove components such as impellers, shafts, bearings, and shaft seals without dismantling the suction or discharge pipelines during pump maintenance, AY type oil pumps use flexible diaphragm type extended coupling components.

Pump piping system:

1. Cooling water is used to cool the shaft seal chamber, bearings, or pump supports according to temperature and usage requirements. The recommended water volume for each pipeline is 0.3-0.7m3/h, with a pressure of 0.2-0.3MPa.
2. Sealed flushing varies depending on the medium being transported by the pump, as well as its working conditions such as temperature and pressure. The sealing liquid volume for each pump chamber is shown in the table below, and can be supplied internally or externally.

The pressure of the sealing liquid is generally 0.07-0.1MPa higher than the sealing pressure. If the conveying medium is prone to vaporization, it should be 0.175-0.2MPa higher than the vaporization pressure
3. The steam pipeline is equipped when the temperature of the conveying medium decreases and crystallization is prone to occur, with a pressure of about 0.1 MPa.
